Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Presents Letter of Credence

Today, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Mongolia Mr. Fazlul Karim presented his credentials to President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.

Following the ceremony President Elbegdorj met with the Ambassador. President Elbegdorj noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People's Republic of Bangladesh in 1972, the two countries have been developing traditional relations and partnership. The parties discussed issues on enhancing mutual relations in economy, trade, agriculture, and textile industry by signing mutual agreements. Also they exchanged views on the opportunities of deepening relations in economic, education and cultural spheres.

Ambassador Mr. Fazlul Karim noted that women's engagement is increasing in Bangladesh. For instance, Ms. Sheikh Hasina serves as the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh and several other women hold positions at the Parliamentary level.

At the conclusion, President Elbegdorj wished Ambassador Mr. Fazlul Karim success in his further endeavors and happiness.
