Ambassador to Andorra presents credentials

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Principality of Andorra Mr. M.Batsaikhan presented his credentials to the Co-Prince of Andorra and the Bishop of Urgell, Joan Enric Vives i Sicília on October 16.

At the meeting after the presentation, Ambassador conveyed greetings of President of Mongolia, Mr. Ts.Elbegdorj, and expressed his willingness to develop Mongolia-Andorra relations and cooperation in all spheres.

The Bishop of Urgell, Joan Enric Vives i Sicília conveyed heartfelt greetings to Mongolian President as well as shared his opinion about Mongolia and wished success to the ambassador who is the first to be appointed from Mongolia to Andorra.

Afterwards, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Mr. Gilbert Saboya Sunyé received Ambassador M.Batsaikhan and exchanged views on opportunities to develop bilateral relations and cooperation and expressed to support every initiative aimed at mutual understanding and promotion.

During the meeting, Ambassador handed over congratulatory letter by the Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag to the Head of Government of Andorra, Mr. Antoni Martí Petit on the occasion of Andorran national holiday.

Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the Principality of Andorra on 21 November 2011.
