Consul General to Istanbul takes his office

Consul General of Mongolia to Istanbul E.Munkh-Ochir received his consular exequatur Director General for Consular Affairs of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Mehmet Samsar on April 18.

At the meeting attended by Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey B.Batkhishig, the sides discussed issues concerning the bilateral consular relations, upcoming visit of the Foreign Minister of Turkey to Mongolia in May and effective organization of consular meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Turkey in Ulaanbaatar.

The visa free travel of citizens of the two countries commenced from April 11, 2014 helped promoting people-to-people direct contacts and bilateral cooperation in the areas of tourism, trade, business, education, culture and science.
