DPRK delegation led by Mun Tae Gil, Vice Director General of the National Tourism Administration of DPRK paid a working visit to Mongolia on June 20 to 25. The visit hosted following up a state visit of President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj to North Korea last year, aimed at furthering bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and sharing experiences in this field.
During the visit, the North Korean delegation attended a workshop “Mongolia’s tourism development prospects and further policy” and plan to visit the main tourist destinations of Mongolia, to introduce tourism policy of North Korea and visit the Institute of Finance and Economics to discuss an issue on training professional personnel.
The North Korean delegation was received by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs D.Gankhuyag and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ts.Oyungerel.
