Foreign minister of Germany to visit Mongolia

Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will pay an official visit to Mongolia on July 6 and 7. During his visit, the Federal Minister will pay courtesy calls on President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag and hold official talks with his Mongolian counterpart, Minister L.Bold and a round table meeting with Deputy Prime Minister D.Terbishdagva on bilateral economic relations and cooperation.
As a part of his visit, Mr. Steinmeier plans to get acquainted with works carried out within bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture, science and archeology. A cooperation memorandum on reconstruction of Kharkhorin monastery ruins into an open-air museum is expected to sign between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Mongolia and the Archeological Institute of Germany as well.
The upcoming visit is hosted in the light of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Germany.
