H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Turkmenistan will pay an official visit to Mongolia

H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Turkmenistan will pay an official visit to Mongolia from on 3rd of June 2015, at the invitation of H.E. Mr. L.Purevsuren, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Both sides are attaching a great significance to the visit since it’s marking the first ever high level visit after establishing diplomatic relations between two countries in 23rd of April 1992.

During the visit, H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Turkmenistan will pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Ts.Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia and H.E. Mr. Ch.Saikhanbileg, Prime Minister of Mongolia and will hold official meetings with H.E. Mr. L.Purevsuren, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

During the official meeting the Foreign Ministers will exchange views on bilateral relations, including acceding of Turkmenistan to the Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of an International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries in Ulaanbaatar as well as other cooperation in the in the field of regional security and on international arena .
