Minister for Foreign Affairsvisits Sweden

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Mr. L.Bold paid an official visit to Sweden on May 26. Mr. L.Bold held an official meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Mr. Carl Bildt to discuss issues concerning bilateral relations and cooperation and international issues of mutual concern. Mr. Carl Bildt said Sweden is ready to provide support in organization of the 5th Freedom Online Conference expected in 2015 in Ulaanbaatar.

As a part of his visit, Minister L.Bold paid a courtesy call on the Swedish Parliament Speaker, Mr. Per Westerberg and had a meeting with the Minister for Public Administration and Housing Stefan Attefall. The sides talked about interparliamentary relations, structures and system of government agencies, and possibilities for cooperation between government agencies of the two countries.

Afterwards, Minister L.Bold attended a Mongolia-Sweden business meeting where he made a briefing on the investment climate in Mongolia and Government’s policy.
