Mongolia ranks 96th on the 2015 Index of Economic Freedom

Mongolia is listed at 96 of 186 countries with a score of 59 by the estimate of Wall Street Journal. Mongolia’s overall score has increased by 0.3 point compared to past year, with improvements in four of the 10 economic freedoms, led by freedom from corruption and fiscal freedom, outweighing declines in business freedom, the management of public spending, and monetary freedom. Among the Asia-Pacific countries, Mongolia rank 19th of 42 countries, and its overall score is above the regional average but below the world average.
