Mongolia’s capital market to be strengthened with Japan’s help

Mongolia’s capital market is to be strengthened with Japan’s help. The 3-year project “Capacity Building of Capital Market” will be implemented by financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, JICA and Japanese Financial Services Agency.

The project envisages the improvement of policy planning and research capacities of the Financial Regulatory Commission, introduction of the risk based monitoring system, restructuring of Mongolian Stock Exchange (MSE) and Securities Clearing House as self regulatory agencies and privatization of state companies through the MSE, IPOs.
