Mongolia’s traditional blue spot is to be studied. Mongolian and Japanese researchers in anthropology and genetics gathered together in Tokyo to discuss a joint research on the cause of the blue spot, which is a birthmark that is present at birth or appears soon afterwards on children. It is flat, blue-grey in color and can vary from a very dark blue to a lighter grey.

The blue spot is explained by the connection of Mongolian ancestral descendants, and however it is also seen at other Asian children as well. Mongolian and Japanese researchers find it very interesting as studying the Blue spot can explain the real connection between the history and genetics of Mongolia.
