Mongolia Welcomed Her 3-Millionth Citizen

Today meeting of the National working group to welcome, register and honor the 3-millionth citizen of Mongolia took place today. Chief of Staff of the President’s Office, Chair of the National working group P.Tsagaan, Member of Parliament, Minister of Population’s Development, and Social Welfare S.Erdene, Minister of Health and Sports G.Shiilegdamba, Advisor to the President R.Bold, Head of the National Statistical Office S.Mendsaikhan, Director General of the Mongolian National Broadcaster Ts.Oyundari and other officials were present at the meeting.

According to the report by the Head of the National Statistical Office S.Mendsaikhan, the 3-millionth citizen of Mongolia was born on January 24, 2015. The birth of the third millionth citizen was determined with 1000th accuracy precision and comparing the birth and death rates registered in January.

The birth of the third millionth citizen of Mongolia was registered at the maternity hospital of Dalanzadgad Soum of Umnugobi Aimag on the Morning of January 24, 2015, and a child of father Enkhtuvshingiin Khatanbold and mother Ganbatiin Azzaya was named as the third millionth citizen of Mongolia.

Chief of Staff of the President’s Office, Chair of the National working group P.Tsagaan noted: “A baby girl has been announced as the 3-millionth citizen of Mongolia and then twin babies were born. It is a great symbol of the population of Mongolia to grow many”.
