Mongolian Government to boost private investments

Government of Mongolia to boost private investments. A draft law on state properties to be privatized in 2015 and 2016 was submitted for consideration of Parliament. Additional shares of public energy and telecommunications companies will be issued and sold to the public in order to attract foreign and private investments into the sector and reduce the public involvement. The move is in pursuit of the government policy to bring in private investments into the energy and telecommunications sectors and to make some structural changes to fit the market requirements.
