Mongolian traditional costumes fashion show premiered in Seoul. It was part of celebrations to commemorate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and South Korea. The Seoul based Embassy of Mongolia hosted the runway show at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul which featured the past, the present and the future of Mongolia through three Mongolian designers' collections. The first collection showed a reinterpretation of Mongolian tradition, followed by cashmere pieces and evening dresses.

For fashion is one of the most effective ways to help the public understand foreign culture the Mongolian fashion show in Seoul helped the Koreans to build understanding of unique Mongolian culture through high fashion. Popular famous violinist of Mongolia Delgertsetseg played pop-style music at the show, adding fun and excitement to the anniversary event and drawing applause from the audience.
