Myanmar Journalists to Learn Mongolia’s Experience

By the initiative of the Office of the President of Mongolia, EBI Think-Tank Institute organizes Myanmar journalists’ workshop in Mongolia. Twenty journalists representing mass media organizations of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar have arrived in Ulaanbaatar to participate in the workshop. Attending five-day workshop in Mongolia, journalists are scheduled to learn from Mongolian experience in democracy, for instance political situation during the period of transition, social and economic situation, the first democratic and free election, the first democratic constitution was adopted, privatization, mining sector, legal reform, monetary and financial policy, health, education system and press freedom of Mongolia.
