New Zealand and Mongolian Prime Minister and Foreign ministers have exchanged letters
The Prime Minister of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Ch. Saikhanbileg and the Prime Minister of New Zealand the Hon. John Key have exchanged congratulatory letters on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations.

The Prime Minister of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Ch. Saikhanbileg and the Prime Minister of New Zealand the Hon. John Key have exchanged congratulatory letters on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations. The two Prime Ministers noted the attributes of small nations of the Asia Pacific region with shared values and strategic interests.
Prime Minister Key highlighted Mongolia’s support accorded to New Zealand’s candidacy for the UN Security Council. Prime Minister Saikhanbileg acknowledged New Zealand’s contributions towards strengthening of the public sector and capacity building in Mongolia. Prime Minister of Mongolia stressed Mongolian Government’s interest to develop bilateral cooperation in peacekeeping operations, agriculture and education sectors. He also invited Prime Minister Key to attend the 20th ASEM Summit, to be held in 2016 in Mongolia.
