Permanent representative to presents credentials

Permanent Representative of Mongolia to UNESCO M.Batsaikhan handed over his credentials to UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues concerning the implementation of UN resolution on Education for democracy and UNESCO resolution on "Supporting the Global Citizenship Agenda through Education for Democracy", the promotion of UNESCO initiative on the creation of global partnership for literacy education, the registration of Mongolia’s heritage in UNESCO World Heritage List, the renewal of the agreement established with UNESCO International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations headquartered in Ulaanbaatar and the recruitment of Mongolian citizens to join UNESCO Secretariat.
