President Elbegdorj Held a Meeting with President Janos Ader

After the welcoming, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj held a tete-a-tete with President of Hungary Janos Ader at the State Ceremonial Ger Palace.

At the meeting, the Heads of State touched upon issues of bilateral relations. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Hungary. It is expected to re-open the Embassy of Hungary in Ulaanbaatar this July, which was closed in 2006.

This visit is highlighted as the first visit since 1994 at the level of Head of State of Hungary. President of Hungary Arpad Goncz visited Mongolia 21 years ago. President Janos Ader noted that he was planned surely to include Mongolia in his visit to East Asian countries. Hel also highlighted the successful visit of President Elbegdorj to Hungary in October, 2014.
