President Elbegdorj Meets With President of Germany Joachim Gauck

Today President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj met with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck. Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren, Minister of Environment and Green Development D.Oyunkhorol, Minister of Transport L.Tumurkhuu and other officials from Mongolia, Secretary of State to the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs Markus Ederer and other officials from Germany were present.

President of Germany Joachim Gauck expressed his pleasure to welcome President of Mongolia and noted: “We highly value and respect the Mongolia’s path towards democracy. I hope that our two countries will further enhance the bilateral historic relations. There are ample opportunities to promote and enrich the intensifying development of mutual ties in the political sector with economic cooperation. I would like to emphasize that the Mongolia-Germany Institute of Technology is one of the major achievements of our bilateral partnership in the education sphere”.
