President to Attend the Plenary Session of the Parliament

President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj is to attend and address his messages to the plenary session of the State Great Khural this week. Chief of Staff of the Office of the President of Mongolia P.Tsagaan made following clarification on the issue.

-Is President of Mongolia going to attend the next plenary session of the Parliament?
Chief of Staff P.Tsagaan: Yes, Provision 3 of Article 33 of the Constitution of Mongolia stipulates that the President of Mongolia may attend the sessions of the Parliament at his own discretion and submit proposals concerning vital issues of domestic and foreign policies of the country. According to the Presidential full powers, he will address his messages to the plenary session of the Parliament.

What issues President will touch on, in his remarks?
Chief of Staff P.Tsagaan: As I mentioned above, the President may at his own discretion attend and may address messages to the State Great Khural. It is expected that President may report on and submit proposals concerning vital issues of domestic and foreign policies of the country.
