Sainshand Wind Park construction to launch

Sainshand Wind Park construction is to launch. Mongolian and German joint venture company Ferrostaal Mongolia is set to launch the construction work of Sainshand Wind Park, the biggest wind farm in eastern Mongolia in April of this year. The park will be completed by the end of 2016 and it will be linked to the central power network of Mongolia.

Sainshand Wind Park is believed to become the biggest wind farm in the country and a major renewable energy producer. The average wind speed in Sainshand soum in eastern Mongolia is 7.4 meters per second which shows the remarkable potential of wind farms in Mongolia. Approximately 110 million USD will be invested into the SWP by the international leading banks and financial institutions.
