Smart bus service is introduced in Ulaanbaatar
Smart bus service is introduced in Mongolia`s capital city Ulaanbaatar. Smart card readers supplied by Korea Smart Card Company are being installed in public buses in the UB city. This latest technology enables to electronically monitor daily income and timetable of buses.

Smart bus service is introduced in Mongolia`s capital city Ulaanbaatar. Smart card readers supplied by Korea Smart Card Company are being installed in public buses in the UB city. This latest technology enables to electronically monitor daily income and timetable of buses.
So far, the devices have been installed in 30 buses on an experimental basis and by July all public buses in the Ulaanbaatar city will have the smart card readers. According to the 2011 statistics, the Ulaanbaatar public transportation system serves some 650 thousand people every day.
