UB transportation to be supported with buses from Belarus

Ulaanbaatar city transportation is to be supported with buses from Belarus. The agreement on supplying 20 buses to UB city was reached at the meeting between the officials of the UB City Municipality and The Embassy of Belarus to Mongolia. The 20 large-scale buses buses will be provided by MAZ" JSC under the Ministry of Industry of Belarus.

"MAZ" JSC has won an international tender for the renewal of Ulaanbaatar city`s transportation services. The buses are scheduled to be delivered in June, where some experts from "MAZ" JSC will arrive in UB to research on bus routes, to train the drivers, to monitor the operations and to come up with guidelines. In addition, Belarusian side proposed to become sister cities with UB.
