Ulaanbaatar`s Waste Management will be improved

Ulaanbaatar`s Waste Management will be improved. Mayor of UB city Mr. Bat-Uul and Director for Central Asia and Mongolia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development or EBRD Mr. Masaru Honma have inked a MoU on implementing a project on the Solid Waste Management Reform.Several waste service improvement and recycling projects have been implemented through “Public Service UB Unit”, a local administration-owned enterprise. Under the MoU, EBRD provides a long term loan of 12 million Euros to the Public Service UB Unit to run a project of Solid Waste Management Reform.
