Workshop on best Oil and Gas production practice held

Workshop on best Oil and Gas production practice was held. The U.S. Embassy in Mongolia held 4 –day consultative workshop to consider international best practices in the oil and gas sector and how to incorporate them into the implementing regulations for Mongolia’s Petroleum Law passed last July.

The law aims to build a fair and stable regulatory framework to attract international investors in order to develop its conventional and unconventional petroleum resources. The participants of the workshop focused on learning international level revenue management and licensing issues.
