MP S.Demberel presents a draft law on amendments to the Law on Central Bank

On August 21, 2015, member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) S.Demberel presented a draft law on amendments to the Law on Central Bank to the Chairman of Parliament Z.Enkhbold.

The main objective of the Central Bank of Mongolia /Mongolbank/ is to ensure the stability of the national currency in accordance with the standards of modern central banks. For instances, objective of the most central banks is to adhere “currency stability”, whereas, the “price stability” understanding is adhered to maintain stable inflation, which is considered and followed as the sub-objective.

Thus, the draft law on amendments to the Law on Central Bank of Mongolia is purposed to practice modern central banks' experiences to introduce subordinated or both sub and main objectives.
