Mongolia and Hungary have ancient historical ties, and the diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries have been strengthening in recent years.
MNB World spoke with Péter Szijjártó, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, about the following topics:
•A Mongolian biotechnology firm was built with financial and technical assistance from Hungary in 1970
•Hungary closed down its embassy in Ulaanbaatar in 2006 and reopened it in 2015
•Since 1990, Mongolia has received a total of 2.4 million USD in investment from Hungary
