On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Mr. L.Bold and President of the Swiss Confederation and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Didier Burkhalter exchanged congratulatory letters.
Minister L.Bold said for the past 50 years, Mongolia and Switzerland have enjoyed friendly relations, mutual understanding and fruitful collaboration in many spheres and expressed a confidence that the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation will further deepen and strengthen in all fields.
President D.Burkhalter noted the year 2014 also marks the 10th anniversary of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) presence in Mongolia and expressed satisfaction at the strong state of our bilateral relations, which are characterized by friendship and cooperation.
