On July 10, 2014, President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj attended and delivered remarks at the ceremony of the Honorary Day for the State Flag and the military parade dedicated to the National Naadam Festival, at the Chinggis Square.
The President issued a decree in 2011, to support people’s effort and initiative to honor the State flag which is the symbol of national independence and sovereignty. People of Mongolia have been celebrating the Honorary Day for the State Flag since 2008 annually on the eve of the Naadam Festival.
