President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj issued a Decree on giving directions to the Government on Climate change. Presidential Decree was handed by Chief of Staff of the Office of the President P.Tsagaan at the Khaan Hall in the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Green Development. Minister of Nature, Environment and Green Development S.Oyun, Minister of Industry and Agriculture Sh.Tuvdendorj, Living Environment and Green Development Policy Advisor to the President L.Erkhembayar, Advisor to the Minister of Nature, Environment and Green Development Z.Batjargal and other officials were present at the ceremony.

Chief of Staff P.Tsagaan noted that since he was elected as President of Mongolia in 2009, Ts.Elbegdorj has always committed to protecting nature and environment and for this reason, President issued a Decree to reflecting people’s and experts opinion and prepare the people for the world climate change. He said that Minister of Nature, Environment and Green Development S.Oyun was recently elected as President of the U.N. Environmental Assembly, and hoped that within her two years presidency she will contribute in adopting international technologies and experiences into Mongolian environment sector and wished success in her future endeavors.
