The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia organized “Doors Open Day” on Chinggis square on April 19 with a view to promote its activities among the wide public.
Opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. L.Bold the event was joined by Embassies of France, Tuekry, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Laos, Kuwait and China to Mongolia.
Consular services were provided by the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry. Moreover, citizens were able to contact directly to diplomatic missions in Beijing, Seoul, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Central archives of the Foreign Ministry staged an exhibition as well. Besides, UNESCO National Commission staged a performance of morin khuur and long song which are registered as World Intangible Cultural Heritage.
