The 852nd Anniversary of birth of the Great Chinggis Khaan and the National Pride Day will be marked on November 23, 2014 or the first day of the first winter month in lunar calendar. On the occasion of the Anniversary, a lecture “Key to the Mongols’ success in medieval era” will be held at the hall “A” of the second building of the National University of Mongolia at 10:30 am on November 21, 2014.
Welcoming the Anniversary, a ceremony of raising the State Flag at the Chinggis Square at 10:00 am and a ceremony of the Great White banner at 10:40 am will be held respectively on November 23. The ceremony of award of the supreme state prize of Mongolia the Order of Chinggis Khaan to academician Kh.Namsrai at the Ceremonial Hall of the Government Palace at 11:40 am on the same day. State officials and citizens will pay tribute to the Statue of Chinggis Khaan at 01:00 pm and a traditional wrestling competition dedicated to the Anniversary will be held at the Wrestling Palace at 02:00 pm.
