Minister of Foreign Affairs Lundeg Purevsuren received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Mongolia, Mr. Yves Delaunay on the 12^th of January 2015 upon the request of the Ambassador.

Minister L.Purevsuren has informed the priorities of the newly established Grand coalition government and new structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expressed his views on opportunities to further broadening bilateral ties between the two countries as well as cooperation with the European Union.

Ambassador Delaunay has touched upon activities planned within the framework of celebrating 50^th Anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Mongolia and France as well as briefed on investments of French companies to Mongolia. As France is chairing the European Union in Ulaanbaatar, the Ambassador exchanged views with respect to preparations for the ASEM Summit to be held in Mongolia in 2016.

Minister L.Purevsuren expressed condolences over the loss of human lives due to recent deadly attacks in France.
