Ten jurists from the Ministry of Justice and the National Legal Institute are taking legal English language course in the context of preparations for the implementation of Agreement on Transparency in Matters Related to International Trade and Investment signed between Mongolia and the United States in September 2013.

The USA will provide technical assistance for the realization of the document, the first stage of which is the training financed by the USA. Representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Justice along with US Ambassador to Mongolia Piper Anne Wind Campbell got acquainted with the course of the training, the next stage of which will encompass 25 jurists and will launch in April.

The main objective of the agreement signed between the two states is to share information on trade and investment-related bills expected to pass and to provide the transparency of the business environment. In other words, it aims at ensuring a free and equal access to information and inclusive participation for the citizens and at improving anti-corruption awareness in the public service.

Pursuant to the national legislation, the agreement shall enter into force in 5 years after its endorsement by the Parliament.
