At the irregular plenary session of the State Great Hural (Parliament) held today on September 8, 2015, an issue to appoint some Ministers of the Cabinet was discussed after approval at relevant Standing committees of the parliament.

Earlier today, it was agreed to appoint the following parliamentarians as Ministers of the Cabinet at the relevant Standing committee meetings:

- MP Tserendash OYUNBAATAR as Deputy Prime Minister at the standing committee on State structures;

- MP Bayarbaatar BOLOR as Minister of Finance at the standing committee on Budget affairs;

- MP Zangad BAYANSELENGE as Minister of Construction and Urban Development as well as MP Munkhchuluun ZORIGT as Minister of Roads and Transportation at the standing committee on Economic affairs;

- MP Garidkhuu BAYARSAIKHAN as Minister of Labor at the standing committee on Social policy, education, culture and science;

- MP Namdag BATTSEREG as Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism at the standing committee on Environment, food and agriculture;

On September 4, 2015, Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr. Chimed SAIKHANBILEG presented a draft Resolution of the Parliament on promoting nominees for Ministers of the Cabinet to Vice-Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) Mr. Radnaasumberel GONCHIGDORJ in accordance with the Law on Government, Article 21.2., that stipulates the State Great Hural shall appoint the succeeding member(s) of government within 30 days, if member(s) of government is/are dismissed.

Moreover, in accordance with the bylaw of the State Great Hural, Article 31, Section 31.1, it states the Parliament shall discuss within 10 days since an irregular session has been commenced.
