On the occasion of 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and his accompanying delegation arrived today in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation for a Working Visit at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

On the sidelines of a Working Visit, President Elbegdorj met with Mongolian students who are studying in Moscow and attended the opening ceremony of a monument called “Horses to the Victory” presented by the people of Mongolia to Russia, dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The monument of Mongol horses was created by the citizens and sculptors to remember Soviet and Mongolian soldiers who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

At the opening ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Purevsuren, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President of Mongolia P.Tsagaan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Sh.Altangerel and media representatives from the both countries were present.
