After having paid a State Visit to the Czech Republic upon the invitation of the Czech President Milos Zeman and attended the 45th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj arrived in Ulaanbaatar.
During a State Visit to the Czech Republic from January 18-20th, 2015, President Elbegdorj met and held official talks with the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman. On the sidelines of a State Visit, President received President of the Senate Milan Stech and Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. Also, President met with Mongolians live and study in Czech and visited Charles University in Prague.

Moreover, President Elbegdorj attended the 45th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and participated in the sessions “Global Water Agenda – 2015” and “Mining and Metallurgy Policy” which took place from January 21 to 24th, 2015. President met with global political and economic leaders and exchanged views on the Strategic Competition in the New Global Context and the Energy Geopolitics in the New Global Context.

On the sidelines of the WEF, President met with the founder and the Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Professor Klaus Schwab. At the meeting, President Elbegdorj expressed his proposal to co-organize the World Economic Forum’s East Asia Summit in Ulaanbaatar. This year the World Economic Forum gained a 'formal status' in Switzerland, confirming the role of non-profit organization as an international institution for public-private cooperation.
