The Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold will pay an official visit to Japan on February 23-27 by invitation of Nobutaka Machimura, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan.

Mr Enkhbold will hold meetings with the Speakers of Houses of Representatives and of Councillors (lower and upper houses), and with Mr Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister. He will be also received by His l Majesty Akihito, the Emperor of Japan.

Moreover, the Speaker will meet S.Eda, the head of the Japan-Mongolia friendship group at the House of Councillors; Koya Nishikawa, the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; authorities of the “Itochu Foods” company, Japan-Mongolia friendship societies, the Japan Business Federation (KEIDANREN); also Hiroshi Watanabe is CEO, Executive Managing Director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC); Akihiko Tanaka, the president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); and leaders of Gunma Prefecture.

The Speaker will leg the Center of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Chiba to see a hydroponic plant, visit Japan’s Science House and the Toyota Exhibition Hall in Tokyo to meet authorities of the Toyota Corporation.

The visiting group will include N.Battsereg MP, a head of the “Justice” coalition's faction at parliament and a member of the Mongolia-Japan friendship group; S.Batbold, a head of the Standing committee on environment, food and agriculture and deputy chair of the Mongolia-Japan friendship group; and other MPs and officials.
