Today /2015.02.02/  President Elbegdorj received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Mongolia Mr. Bouhang Sayasanawo on occasion of the end of his term of diplomatic mission in Mongolia. President Elbegdorj thanked for his contribution in developing the bilateral relations in numerous spheres in his four years term of mission in Mongolia, representing the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Ambassador Bouhang Sayasanawo expressed his appreciation and noted that he is glad that Mongolia and Laos have maintained frequent exchanges of high-level visits, underlining the visit of the President of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Ms. Pany Yathotu to Mongolia in 2012. Ambassador emphasized that the two countries enjoy mutually beneficial relations in political and economic spheres and conveyed President of Laos’s invitation to President Elbegdorj to visit Laos.

President Elbegdorj noted: “I am glad to have had the opportunity to attend the Asia Europe Meeting /ASEM/ in Vientiane, Laos, and meet with the President of Laos and other officials. Mongolia to host the 11th ASEM Summit in 2016. I believe that high-level representatives of Laos will also participate in this event. We will be working to implement projects which discussed during the official visits and meetings. Laos expressed its interest to cooperate with Mongolia in agriculture, industry and other spheres. We will aim to implement these works.
I appreciate the Laos President’s invitation. I extend my hearty greetings to His Excellency, President of Lao People’s Democratic Republic Choummaly Sayasone.
